How the Heart System Works

LFDUO.GG has two different heart totals. They serve different purposes and are not interchangeable.

Spendable hearts

This is the number beside the heart button in the top bar. You receive spendable hearts from daily LFDUO.GG gifts, Premium daily rewards, or heart purchases. Spendable hearts can be used for matchmaking and to send gifts.

♥Profile hearts

This is the heart total displayed on a player card. Profile hearts are cosmetic appreciation only. They increase only when another user likes your player card or sends you a heart gift. They cannot be spent, transferred, withdrawn, or used for matchmaking.

How to matchmake

Set your game and rank preferences with the Filter button, then click the heart and balance in the top bar. One spendable heart is reserved while searching. The heart beats until a compatible player is found. Canceling, disconnecting, or finding no match within 30 seconds refunds it. A successful match uses the heart, shows the matched player card, and lets you select Start chatting to open a private conversation.

When you gift hearts: the amount is deducted from your spendable balance. After the recipient opens the gift, those hearts increase only the cosmetic total on their player card. The recipient does not receive spendable currency.
